Is Scrabble too slow? Are you sick of writing everything down in Boggle? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then MY WORD! may be exactly what you are looking for.

MY WORD! is for 2-6 players. Included in the game is a deck of 56 cards and easy-to-read rules. The cards consist of 40 single letter cards, 13 double letter cards, and 3 wild cards. Players compete against one another forming words using at least three cards. The first player to announce a possible word combination scores a point. The player with the most points at the end of the game has earned bragging rights.

A game of MY WORD! can be played in one-half hour, but time seems to move faster. This is because everyone is constantly involved in the game. The dealer for the round lays down one card at a time. Players race to see who can make a word from the cards.

There are enough card combos it keep MY WORD! fresh and interesting. Also, MY WORD! promotes itself as a great tool for players looking to increase their word recognition and vocabulary skills. However, the majority of the cards contain single letters, and three cards are needed to form a word. Vocabulary building is marginal for literate adults.
