This two-player game of colors and shapes is played
on a game board angled like an easel. Fifty-four
game tiles are divided into three colors (red, blue,
and green) and three shapes (moon, lightning and
raindrop). The tiles do not belong to either player.
Opponents take turns sliding any tile down any of
the seven channels in an effort to complete a winning
arrangement, which consists of completing one of
two arrangements of four tiles: either a horizontal,
vertical, or diagonal row of four tiles, or a two-by-two
square of four tiles. But the winning arrangement
is different for each of player. Each has decided
in advance whether to play for “shape” or
for “color.” The “shape” player
wins with tiles of the same shape, regardless of
the color on the tiles, while the “color” player
wins with tiles of the same color, regardless of
shape.
It takes sharp eyes and concentration to win.
The play-testers suggest you're more likely to win
by giving preference to the center channels. It's
up to you to find out if they're right.
