GOLD DIGGER® sets anxious prospectors on a quest
to find their fortunes in gold. Picking the right claims
will yield a cornucopia of riches… but beware
of fool’s gold! The player that outwits all the others,
wins!
Gold Digger is from the Easy Play category—Perfect
for small groups of casual game players. Designed for
players who don’t take games too seriously, these games
feature a blend of light strategy, chance, and theme.
Gold Digger is a race to prospect mines with the greatest
amount of gold. To counter those who make the first
claims, other players can foil their riches by padding
the mine with fool's gold.
Each player has a limited number of character cards
to lay claim on a mine. If multiple claims are laid
on the same mine, the rewards are divided evenly at
the end. Since there is a split in revenues, claiming
smaller mines is advantageous since a multiple claim
would have little worth to the prospector.
Overall, this is a fast paced,
enjoyable game well suited for parties.
