"New company Out of the Box were showing the prototype
of Bosworth, a board and
card game. The cards show characters that are the equivalent
of Chess pieces - with an outline behind them to reinforce
the point. Cards/pieces move and take as Chess pieces
and the aim of the game is to be the last king to control
Bosworth field. You start
with four pawns on the board - your camp - and a hand
of four cards. In your turn, you move a card, play one
into your camp (if you can), and refill your hand. That's
it. Simple (everyone knows Chess,
surely) and quick, with enough depth to support lots
of playing. It works well with two, three or four players."
