This game from Out of the Box in Madison
blends simple mechanics, rapidly shifting situations,
challenging strategies and a marvelously easy way to
learn African geography. The playing board is a map
of Africa, and there are cards with all the countries,
plus cards representing auto and plane travel. Players
take turns drawing cards from three face-up discard
decks and one face-down draw deck. The object is to
be the first player to connect a string of countries
together by walking between adjacent countries, motoring
between countries with a shared neighbor or flying between
countries that share the same map color.
